This base 3457 is painted black from factory and is made of a raw material called polystyrene, technically known as PS. The black base 3457 is part of the Black Collection, which includes other products, such as casings, chair rails, and accessories, like plinth blocks and rosettes. These profiles are eco-friendly and sustainable because they are made from recycled EPS (STYROFOAM®). After recycling the plastic, 96% of it is used as raw material for the production of mouldings and wall paneling. Once these profiles have reached the end of their useful life, they can be recycled and transformed into raw materials once again for the production of new products. This base has several interesting features that differentiate it from other products in its category. It does not mold, rot, is immune to pests and termites, is water-resistant, and can be used in wet/ humid environments, such as kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms. Its use is for interior environments only. This profile’s board comes in lengths of 7′ 10-1/2″ (2.4m) by factory standard (which may be customizable upon request).
The Black Collection stands out for its black finish, often used in interior decoration to emphasize certain attributes, such as youthfulness and personality. The color is also frequently associated with power, elegance, and sophistication.
A slatted wall panel can change the rhythm, texture, and even the perception of a wall within a design.
In this inspiration, Santa Luzia`s Camuru Slatted Wall Panel becomes part of the composition, creating a continuous surface that extends all the way to the ceiling and brings a stronger presence to the space.

Polystyrene Wall Bases have earned their place in architecture by combining aesthetics, practicality, and performance in a single product. 💡
Unlike traditional Wall Bases, they are water resistant, do not develop mold, do not warp, and are immune to pests, keeping their finish looking beautiful for much longer—even in humid environments.
Another key advantage is their easy installation, which reduces construction time and makes renovations more efficient without compromising the quality of the finish.
These benefits have made polystyrene Wall Bases an increasingly popular choice among architects, designers, and specifiers.
