The Sense wall paneling comes in cypress color for its finish, and its black raw material is called polystyrene, also known as EPS. This product is part of the Sense collection, which includes other items. The coatings are ecological and sustainable, derived from the recycling of Styrofoam®, where 96% of this raw material is used in our polystyrene products after recycling. This wall paneling has some interesting characteristics such as: it does not mold, does not rot, is immune to pests and termites, is water-resistant, and can be used in damp environments such as kitchens, bathrooms, and laundries. Its use is restricted to indoor environments only, and the bars measure 3 linear meters in length.
The Sense Collection is the embodiment of modernity, representing the harmony between sensation and nuances, offering a unique experience of sophistication and contemporaneity. Each piece has been specially developed to capture the essence of light and shadow, thanks to its ability to incorporate LED lighting in an elegant way. The tones blend perfectly with indirect light, providing an environment where every detail is a statement of style and refinement. Sense is the ideal choice for those who seek to bring an atmosphere of tranquility and contemporary elegance to their spaces, creating environments that not only visually enchant, but also emotionally involve.
Everything changed when we stopped to listen.
An architect from São Paulo came to us with a problem: wood baseboards paired with plaster weren’t working in humid environments.
That’s when we realized — it wasn’t just about delivering beauty. We had to solve a real pain point.
We paused everything. We truly listened. And we began searching for a new solution. That’s when we discovered the potential of recycled polystyrene: more resistant, more durable, and more sustainable.
That moment marked the beginning of our first baseboards made with this innovative material. And along with them, a new future for Santa Luzia was born.
Today, we’re the largest manufacturer in Latin America in this segment.
And it all started with a single conversation.
Because when we listen with intention, we create true transformation 💚
