This wall base SL101 is painted black from factory, has a wire path and is made of a raw material called polystyrene, technically known as PS. The white wall base SL101 with a wire path is part of the Pro Build Collection, which includes other innovative products. These profiles are eco-friendly and sustainable because they are made from recycled EPS (STYROFOAM®). After recycling the plastic, 96% of it is used as raw material for the production of mouldings and wall paneling. Once these profiles have reached the end of their useful life, they can be recycled and transformed into raw materials once again for the production of new products. This wall base has several interesting features that differentiate it from other products in its category. It does not mold, rot, is immune to pests and termites, is water-resistant, and can be used in wet/ humid environments, such as kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms. Its use is for interior environments only. This profile’s board comes in lengths of 7′ 10-1/2″ (2.4m) by factory standard (which may be customizable upon request).
To enable a perfect, sustainable, and high-quality finish for construction projects, Santa Luzia has developed a collection specifically designed for builders and developers. The Pro Build Collection! Offering over 50 base and casing designs, this collection consists of decorative mouldings made from recycled plastic residues. The primary input material is expanded polystyrene (EPS), commonly known as Styrofoam®. In addition to giving a sustainable destination for plastic residues that unfortunately end up in landfills and oceans, these profiles can be recycled at the end of their useful life. This means that the base installed today can be transformed into a new one in the future, adding value to the project and contributing to certifications such as LEED.
