The French-inspired Café/Bistro recreates the garden of the old hospital on its surfaces and brings the impressive arcade of the building into the interior space through large openings and mirror planes. The palette of robust and vibrant tones is present in the deep green ceiling, earthy walls and coverings, pinkish-gray boiserie, and abundant vegetation. Highlighting different natural textures on the surfaces and furniture evokes the nostalgia of a small French restaurant.

An architect from São Paulo came to us with a problem: wood baseboards paired with plaster weren’t working in humid environments.
That’s when we realized — it wasn’t just about delivering beauty. We had to solve a real pain point.
We paused everything. We truly listened. And we began searching for a new solution. That’s when we discovered the potential of recycled polystyrene: more resistant, more durable, and more sustainable.
That moment marked the beginning of our first baseboards made with this innovative material. And along with them, a new future for Santa Luzia was born.
Today, we’re the largest manufacturer in Latin America in this segment.
