A 6 1/2″ (165 mm) White Polystyrene Window Sill TR-3 SL 161 Santa Luzia, made of white polystyrene, combines durability with a clean, modern look, enhancing both functionality and the overall aesthetics of the space. Its recycled polystyrene composition ensures it is resistant to mold, rot, and pests, making it an ideal choice for long-lasting use. A window sill refers to the flat, horizontal surface located at the bottom of a window frame, both on the inside and outside of a building. It serves functional and aesthetic purposes. Internally, it provides a small ledge for placing objects like plants or decorative items, while externally, it helps direct water away from the wall beneath the window, protecting the structure from moisture damage. In some architectural designs, the window sill may also be called a “window ledge” or “stool,” especially when it extends further inside a room.
The Modern Collection is composed of bases, casings, chair rails and accessories, such as plinth blocks and rosettes, that add modernity to walls, doors, and passages of indoor spaces. Made from recycled polystyrene and painted white from factory, these profiles offer endless possibilities of use to make your environment modern and clean, creating, for instance, shiplaps, picture frame mouldings and much more. The variety of profile sizes is the standout feature of this collection, with different surfaces, thicknesses, and heights—ranging from delicate 1 3/16″ (3cm) tall bases to 9 13/16″ tall (25cm) bases. Add a modern touch in a practical way with Santa Luzia’s ready to install Modern Collection.
