Chair rails are no longer limited to classic interiors, and this project is a perfect example of that.
In the Living Alquimia do Contraste space, designed by Ketlin Bueno for CASACOR, the profiles are part of a composition that blends classic and contemporary influences.
On the walls, decorative moldings and chair rails help create rhythm and depth, taking on different visual expressions in black and white. On the ceiling, the repetition of the profiles extends the design to another plane, reinforcing the geometry found throughout the space.
This project features the 448RM Chair Rail, customized in black, and the 598 Half Round, installed where the walls meet, contributing to the continuity and refined finish of the composition.
The result highlights an interesting possibility for design professionals: more than just finishing details, profiles can become part of a project`s design language, connecting walls, ceilings, colors, and furniture.
An inspiration to see chair rails beyond classic interiors. ✨

Here, lighting is also part of the space`s design.
In this office project, architect Adriana Piva used Santa Luzia`s VersaLED as a chair rail and lighting feature, creating a line of light that follows the walls and extends throughout the space.
Beyond defining the transition between colors, the profile adds a new layer to the design: it becomes part of the wall`s composition while transforming that same line into indirect lighting.
An example of how finishes and lighting can be conceived as part of the same composition. ✨

A slatted wall panel can change the rhythm, texture, and even the perception of a wall within a design.
In this inspiration, Santa Luzia`s Camuru Slatted Wall Panel becomes part of the composition, creating a continuous surface that extends all the way to the ceiling and brings a stronger presence to the space.

It looks like wood, but it isn’t... 👀
A lot of people mistake it for wood, and that’s exactly what makes Santa Luzia’s Ecowood Collection stand out.
It brings the look and feel of natural wood to your projects, but with a much more practical routine: it doesn’t require frequent painting or varnishing, is moisture-resistant, and requires little maintenance.
